Made In Italy - Ko Tarutao

Having been away for over 3 weeks now, I had a real craving for something bread based. The Vego pizza did not disappoint remotely. Very authentic tasting, delicious ingredients/ the spinach was a great touch. Base tomato sauce was rich and flavorful coupled with good mozzarella. Reasonable pricing to boot and a good selection of condiments available, the chilli oil being a stand out by way of a generous ratio. All the usual beers, wines etc are available and the restaurant itself is well presented. Many of the tables were reserved, though I was able to get one if there are a group of you it’ll be advisable to book ahead of time. No complaints about my meal here, I’d certainly go again. Recommended.

Ordered carbonara pasta. rather salty to taste and texture a little dry. portion is just ok though for one person. had to find a little snack after.

A surprisingly good place to have Italian food in Thailand. Very expensive, even for Koh Lipe. But great to know that you can have good pizzas, if you crave one during our tour of Asia.

Italian place on Lipe.. I had my doubts but it was genuinly good. Owner is an Italian who is on Lipe for 10 years, really friendly guy. Staff is friendly and really fast!! Food was better than expected, for Italian food in Thailand this is definitely worth 5 stars!
