There are different types of tofu that I do not really like, but there are other dishes such as chicken, fried scallops, noodles, curry etc that you can try 3. There are also unlimited salads! 4. For dessert I liked it very much as I have a sweet tooth. You have soy milk ice cream with various sprinkles, chocolate fountain I really loved this with marshmallows, biss size cakes, and fruits 5. You also fill the food after ASAP great work! Although, the seat we had I think was a little dirty esp the floor and for the used plates, the staff did not take it asap. The lunch buffet is from 11:00 to 16:00, but every guest has only 90 minutes to eat. But overall I enjoyed it! I'll eat there again!
Good choices on the buffet and very good tofu selection
I visited Mame No Hatake for dinner and thought they were just serving tofu, but I was wrong. They specialize in tofu dishes (and they do it well), but there is an amazing variety of foods except tofu. It is not a vegetarian/vegan buffet as I originally expected; You will find many beef, chicken, pork, fish and egg. The dessert table was also very impressive, with a chocolate fountain and an ice machine. I liked the tofu pudding especially. The staff was also very friendly, although they spoke little English. Once every half an hour or so, a small bell is rung and a time-limited dish is served, so keep your ears open when you want to try the limited edition foods. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal here. For about 2000 yen (including taxes) it can appear something on the pricy side, but it is definitely worth it with the quality and selection of food.
Great place for lunch buffet, good choice of healthy food, all delicious and excellent value for money (1580 yen per head) with drinks included. It looked devastated from outside, but it was full inside, mostly local Japanese families.
Excellent service...brillantes stuff... all usual standards in #Japan
