High prices, but: very good food, beautiful ambiente, right on the Rhine, great view on honorary stone, as well as friendly and well-launched staff.

Service 5 of 5 dinners 5 of 5ambiente 5 of 5 soon at the reseervierung on the phone the owner has made only jokes so that you can go there with a good feeling.The waiters are also great on it and big praise to the kitchen.Be the bread and the associated dip were the hammer!If you have a special leave and not too much looking at money, the visit here is worth 100%.

We've had a fabulous night at Pegelhaus. It totally lived up to it's reputation. The staff were fantastic. Absolutely a 10 for them. The food was equally as good. We had shared a starters platter. It was perfect. For mains we both had a beef fillet. Cooked perfectly. Thank you so much to the staff for a very memorable evening.

Dining in, or on this occasion outside the 'gauging (water level indicator) house' on the banks of the Rhein was a special experience from start to finish. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, with excellent humorous English greeted us and took us through the menu, which in any event was in English. They also explained the subtle differences in the local wines on offer. The mixed seafood dish (Nautilus 10) for 2 was a delightful selection of perfectly cooked fish. Equally the Dessertvariation (for 2) was a tasty selection of deserts, albeit served on the inevitable slate slab. For those who say the Germans' cannot make a full bodied red wine, try one made from the Regent grape - again a recommendation from our knowledgeable waiters.My only regret - we didn't eat there last time we were in Koblenz!
