It was perfect. Really really good. Operated by a Japanese couple. They're nice and friendly. And the chef looks like he definitely knows his stuff. We had the lunch menu and didn't choose our sushi, I guess it was like chef's choice but doesn't matter because it was all great. If you're in the area, don't miss this place. I wish I stayed closer so I can order again. I just cannot stress enough what a pleasant surprise it was to eat here almost by accident and I still think about the taste of the sushi today. Really great job!
Came for a very early dinner on a Tuesday. Had a 9pc sushi, a piece of uni nigiri and umeshu. Sushi was clean tasting and a joy to eat. Truly authentic Japanese sushi bar and none of that Nordic sushi style shizz where they drench your sushi with sauces/cream. Just well made sushi with a dash of wasabi and pickled ginger. Got to eat my favourite uni again after over a year of living in copenhagen. Almost had tears in my eyes. Uni here was on the briny side, not as creamy as the ones in Japan, but still very good. Would give 10 out of 5 stars if I could.
The best sushi I've ever eaten. Perfect rice, delicious fish, made to perfection. Simple and authentic. Very small place 8 people max. But what a food!!!
Opted for takeaway it was delicious, fresh and seasonal seafood especially the scallop was so sweet and delicate and otoro was umami and decadent. Unfortunately the uni was not for takeout so will definitely have to revisit to enjoy the restaurant ambiance another time.
Some of the best sushi and sake that I’ve had in a cosy 12 seater near the lakes
