Classic french bistro in Copenhagen, which turned out to be a hidden gem. Three courses and a bottle of wine for 1000DKK is a bargain given the quality of the food. The cheesesuffle was nothing but delicious, and the quality was kept at this high level through both main course and dessert. The service was, for us, just perfect. Just one person (the owner) managed to service all occupied tables, and even found the time for a little chat during our meal. I can gladly recommend Le Caprice, and will surely come back.
Food arrived almost an hour after ordering. The beef both tasted and smelled weird, and was very raw throughout. Potatoes was good, though — if you look aside from the little piece of hair in the bowl. Will neither recommend nor come back ever.
Great place, cozy, authentic and simply amazing. We found it by coincidence, looking for something near our hotel during a weekend trip to Copenhagen. It turned out to be a great dinner out. Fantastic atmosphere with nice music, terrific service, and great food. We had the tartar and then fish and steak for main course. Both very good, but particularly the steak was among the best I ever had. The whole atmosphere was special with a personal attention towards every guest. Truly a gem worth visiting while in Copenhagen. And superb value for money! Strongly recommended : .
We were a large group and tried everything on the menu. Food was good, a little heavy on the sauce so don’t expect the avant garde Nordic cuisine from a Noma clone. Service was well meaning but really inadequate for the size of the restaurant. Starters were great mains less memorable. Very nice people in a welcoming space. 3.75/5 from a discerning foodie :
