Madsalen - Koebenhavn

I know that you shouldn´t complain about too much food, but a 10 course tasting menu at Madsalen is way too much food. Everything was really nice and especially the starters were great. Wine perfekt. Service good. A nice evening, but still too much food.

The place is rustic and have danish hygge . Plenty of space but quite hot in summer since there is no AC. Very friendly staff and serving was quick. Our waiter did not know any of the wines and grapes we asked. Some more briefing needed for that area. All 10 courses in the tasting menu were excellent and we did not leave the restaurant hungry nor over filled. I will definitely go back!

We went there early on a friday. It is a very cosy room with lots of space. We tried the 10 dish tasting menu, which we can recommend. Good and observant staff. This could very well turn into our new favorite restaurant

It’s really a good place and eat, and you can get drinks menu or wine menu to all the dishes that suits the food. The waiters provide a good service. We were four people, and it was 6000 kr. with everything.

The menu is recommended very much. Simple but decent cocktails. Really nice and cozy room to be in, good lighting. A little expensive water to the table.
