Sanchez Cantina - Koebenhavn

Was here with friends, and ordered the special 6 course menu well that was the only option so thats a easy pick price 595DKK the quality of food was very good and cant complain about the service nice waiters. The only reason this dont is a 5 star experience is a few things I expect in this price range was not spot on. 1. the size of the portions was simply too small, i had to get a bite when i got back home 2. the food came too fast and they were very eager to remove the plates the moment we put down the fork, I fully understand this is a business and they want to flip the table, but for a total of almost DKK 1000 per person incl drink there should be room for a conversation and no rush verdict: great food good experience, would I come back, only if they lower the price with minimum 30

Really great food! We started with a couple of snacks: chips with dips and a tuna tostada. The dips were both awesome and while I preferred the roja, the fermented green tomato was new for me and quite interesting. The margarita was brilliant too. Moving on to the tasting menu, the seaweed was tasty but a bit chewy. The shrimp taco was great but a bit spiky. I didn't enjoy the Burrito. The mussels were really tasty a little spicy and with a sauce that was great for dipping. The tacos were some of the best I've ever had (even though I had to assemble them myself). I enjoyed the wine pairing but would have liked to see something that wasn't from DACH due to my background). Will definitely go back next time we are in Copenhagen.

Great mussels, interesting takes on other Mexican dishes, but not spicy. Quite small dishes if you are the hungry kind.

Food was nice, not special. Service on the other hand was really bad. We went for the tasting menu and the dishes had a 25 minute gap between them which felt really long and by the time the dish arrived we had already forgot what the previous dish was or how it tasted like. I would not come back here again.
