Thai Esan Market - Koebenhavn

Wonderful Thai restaurant with a great atmosphere and decor. Many pictures of the Late Thai King and his beautiful wife. Off the main drag behind the main station in Copenhagen this was a great recommendation. Food portions were enormous and very well prepared. Excellent service by the staff.

Excellent, authentic Thai food. We had the crispy prawn satay starters with a green curry- all so good. The green curry was hot spicy enough to give a good curry buzz. Loved it, portions are huge so sadly we left some, locals take home the following days lunch! Definitely recommended, many thanks to the chef and staff.

It was superdelicious. Reservation is recommended, we were lucky to get a place. Very friendly and familylike stuff. We come back.

We were excited to have lunch at a recommended Thai restaurant with promising dishes and nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, our expectations were soon crashed by a terrible service experience by the waitress. We named our orders and when the first plate arrived, we realized a different dish was served than ordered and after telling the waitress about the mistake instantaneously, we got a rude response saying it was our fault and that she wrote the dish choice down correctly. All lunch participants confirmed that the order was indeed wrong and another dish was named than the one served but the waitress would not take the plate back, nor admit her mistake made nor excuse herself for any inconvenience. Furthermore, the waitress said we would just have to share our dishes and pay for the order that arrived unwantedly. Moreover, at the end of our lunch, we had to go search for the waitress who was sitting at a table checking her phone, without caring about only two tables occupied in the restaurant and waiting for more assistance and finally bringing the check to us. Conclusively, we want to compliment the taste and generous size of the dishes. However, the delicious food does not make up for this terribly disappointing service experience, which is why we would not recommend to visit this place before training and choosing their staff better.

In my mind best Thai restaurant in town. Full value for money and big portions Always recommend this restaurant to people coming to Copenhagen.
