The centralhotellet offers very nice rooms, clean, good beds and a good bathroom. the breakfast is also very good, but I think that a cappuchino should be included in the price. the same applies to fresh orange juice. somehow: many fresh bread and sweets. and also the homemade jams are very nice. the personal is friendly. make sure that the hotel is closed at 18:00 clock and there is nothing to buy or get after this hour. then they have to enter the hotel through the side doors, which is in order, but I would rather not arrive for the first time after the opening times.
We were here one night. the location is very good, it is on the main road of the city. our room was very small, where two people cannot move at the same time. apart from a few of the rooms have no privare bathroom/WC. we thought we had a room with private bathroom reserved, but we couldn't. although the hotel and the communal baths are very well maintained and clean are not yet very practical. Maybe they'll wait a long time for the bathroom in the morning. the breakfast is very simple, but sufficient. they can get cooked eggs, two types of cheese, yogurt, jam and some chalk. we paid about 100 euro formdie night, which is cheap in comparison to travel in Denmark, but would rather pay more to get more comfort. also our room was in the top floor and it is quite difficult to carry large luggage. it has parking in its courtyard
It has become a tradition that when visiting koege we call the centralhotellet for our late morning tea with some of their very tasty ecological Danes. we always feel welcome, the service is polite and the charming room with its raw brick walls is always...nice and clean
This old hotel has been nicely restored. Have visited them twice. Once for lunch where the food was nice and once for breakfast where they had forgotten the reservation and the brakfast buffet was so-so. They have their own in-house bakery which supply the restaurant...and sell out of the house also
