Restaurant Freiheit - Köln

After a long day at the fitness fair in Cologne, we made our way outside the trade fair to go to some more cozy eating. The first restaurant after a sports bar was freedom. German Croatian cuisine sounded as promising as the cozy outdoor spaces in the striking summer weather. So we settled there, and after the busy day of the fair, we wanted to fill the bells and sit comfortably. Well, this was quickly avoided. The service was unfriendly and hoisted, although not so much was just 5 out of at least 15 outdoor tables were just occupied. You had to choose quickly and when I said the others could already order all the carvings, came back at the heart that this was not possible. Although I probably managed to choose only one salad anyway. Then the food started, and the three were not much tanned by the side salad, but even less of the pommes that tasted after Currywurst. I don't think the carving was such a hammer. Well and my salad, okay, but at the price about 8 euros, I would have liked a little more variety of tomato, cucumber, peppers, onion,...????. The drinks were then at least good price. Nevertheless, at a price of about 60 euros for four people with only one drink per guest it should have been better. In addition, all of us failed the unfriendly sound of the service, it was also not to have any stress level with regard to many guests, which is why we simply felt an extreme negative. It should nevertheless be mentioned that the toilets appeared well maintained. Here we will certainly no longer return and then rather avoid the sports bar;

We had a terrible experience. We went for a coffee and a light meal. One of the ladies, that seems to be the owner, threatens my wife really rude. It was so unpleasant that we had to go to another restaurant to get a meal.... We were just two of us. It's a shame, because I like Cologne and the people are so nice, but it was an unexpected situation. I do not recommend that the place is nearby with such beautiful places.

Terrible. The service was terrible and the service was not good either. The owner and the workers were very rude and disrespectable

This place is fairly simple but one of my favourites in the area. The interiour is average but the food is good and the portions big. Prices are appropriate. I go back every time for the Pljeskavica and especially love the Pljeskavica filled with feta....Yum!

We had a mixed drill plate with some beers. It was plenty for us. Service was fast and friendly and prices are correct.
