Kuba Lounge - Koh Kut

Very glad that we decided today for a late lunch in cuba lounge. the steamed tofu with mushroom and ingwer was beautifully fresh and tasty, like the pad thai, which the owners adapted to make vegan-friendly! Clear that the owners have a lot of care and proud of the taste and presentation of their dishes!

I give 4 stars because I don't have the opportunity to give 5 stars. one of my favorite places in koh kood. it offers many vegetarian options and many of the Thai dishes can also be vegan. they do not use msg or palm oil. the vegan burger is delicious and the whole food is fresh, the brot is homemade, the vegan fruchteis is delicious and they even have hydroponic salad in the garden. the owners are beautiful and always very attentive to every detail.

This is a nice place run by a friendly Brit. There is a dedicated veggie section on the menu plus they have a board with specials which includes a veggie bean burger. The papaya salad was very spicy but we asked for it this way and the owner warned us! The fried pineapple rice was standard but nice. It was the burger that was disappointing dry with not much flavour and lacking any garnish inside like onions or pickles, it just had some ketchup. Said skin on fries (like homemade) but they were just oven fries. Plus the vegan bun was a charcoal one that had an unsuitable sweet flavour. The food took a long time to come out, especially for other diners around us. However they do have a sign up saying there is only one chef so it might take a while

The people are very kind and welcoming. The food tastes grate as well. Best food we had so far on Koh Kut. Highly recommend.
