We didn‘t expect a Seafood eating place to have many vegan options except for fries. But we were wrong. Inside the menu a whole page is called „Vegetarian Food“. So we gave it a try and ordered two different curries. By now we’ve tried all of them – they are even among the best we’ve ever eaten. Vegetarian spring rolls are not mentioned, but the owner Som cooked some for us anyway. A littly too oily maybe, but mainly fresh and delicious. Som knows perfectly well, what the words vegetarian and vegan mean. No fish sauce, no dairy, no egg no problem. She even uses two different pans to cook for us. Upon request she made us some porridge – for the first time with coconut milk. Very tasty. When she‘s out of tofu or something else, she simply jumps on her scooter and quickly gets some. Overall a very welcoming place with a kind, open-minded and flexible owner who cooks yummy food.
Very cheap and really good food. But small portions. We had to order seconds. Really friendly owner, sweet lady who became almost crazy when my bf ordered meat for the second time because she thought he was vegan to hehe. Not very chic restaurant, tables and chairs look a bit old and dirty.
I found the place on Happy cow, sat down. Boss Lady came after five minutes, we told her we were vegan, she said, "No problem!" with a big smile. The place looks like he's falling apart, but that just adds to the charm. She obviously didn't have to Fu, but she hopped on her motorcycle and came back with two portions in a few minutes. Food was great, she had Wi-Fi and spoke good English. The prices were too cheap and very large. Some of the Veggies are cultivated in their garden and they get other neighbors.
It seems you have dinner at your grandmother's house. Simple Tai food, many vegan options, cheap and tasty. But not at all)
