Quick service and polite staff. Loved the ambience and the food. A lovely Varenda seating for a evening coffee or a night drink. Pet friendly and not so kid friendly (toddler) as many artifacts and books on display. Has a vast collection of coffee table books. Food was delicious and customized a pasta for my kid too which was perfect for him. Shall visit again.
Renamed as Qmin Cafe, located at the ground floor of Taj Wellington Mews. This Cafe offers excellent vibe and good food. Their hospitality added to good vibe which is top notch and definitely worth mentioning. Mr.Advait served us very well and deserves a mention for the five stars. The only downer is the absence of parking assistance for non-residents.
Great place for a sandwich, beautiful verandah with ceiling fans. Staff is helpful and pleasant.
Discovered this cafe online and since then awaited long to visit colaba for Mews Cafe. It’s a very beautiful cafe at Taj Wellington Mews. It’s huge and luxurious. The ambience is really mesmerising and very authentic to be in such an environment. It was around 11 and we thought to grab some late breakfast. We went for the Pancake. Some Club Sandwich and a Cafe Latte. Stack of Pancakes topped with mascarpone and berry compote or maple syrup was the yummiest looking pancake I’ve ever had. The pancake was really well made, very soft and the blend with berry mascarpone with maple syrup made it really relishing. We loved it so much that we went for the second time for the same, but as it is righteously said first times the charm, the next time it was a little different in taste. The club sandwich was really good in taste, it was as good as a sandwich should be. Loved the sandwich! It was fresh and very well made, and filling. Cafe latte was good but not served as hot as it should be. Overall the service is good and place is excellent!
A great discovery this week. Never knew of the existence of Luxury service apartments from the Taj group of hotels and when we happened to discover them last night, we also spotted a pretty cafe right at the entrance of the tall tower. We felt the smiles right from the entrance and a whiff of positivity made us feel welcome inside instantly. We stepped in to see what the place is like and found it extremely cosy and picture perfect. A beautiful cafe which open not just to the guests of the hotel but also to the guests outside. The seating is luxurious indoors and picturesque outdoors. The menu is vast enough to enjoy a good time. Mr. Shabbar Madhiya, the restaurant manager, is an adorable young man who knows his job really well. He pampered us like royalty and gave us a beautiful insight of the hotel and the concept of the service apartments here. Not to boast, but they have a helipad at the rooftop for top delegates and diplomats residing with them. They also have a pretty Mart, a small shopping section within the cafe which sells products at market prices. A spa in the adjoining building which is pretty popular is an added attraction. A lush green lawn and a pool too only make the property even more swish. Evenings here over a cup of coffee would be the most romantic I’m sure. While we were here during dinner time so we opted for a meal which would suffice our hunger pangs. What we relished is as follows; 1. Cheese omelette with hash brown and beans on toast. Not exactly a dinner item but somehow had a craving for it. Was beyond excellent. Soft and fresh and absolutely gooey as it was loaded with cheese. 2. Cheese chilli toast. An in-house favourite. These guys really are generous with the quantity and quality of the 2 varieties of cheese used to make these Toasts. Brilliant!!!!! 3. Hummus. A signature dish here again. The smooth and creamy texture of the hummus with toasted flat bread ....a perfect pairing. Their hummus is one of the best I have had. Highly recommended. 4. Pizza. Just had to be perfect since they truly know how to to generous with toppings and cheese. Loved the crispy thin base with the choicest of toppings. 5. Super food salad. A healthy treat made of quinoa, sweet potatoes, beet root, orange and citrus dressing. The lettuce added a crunch to the soft texture of the vegetables and quinoa. And the orange and chilli dressing was delicious. 6. Stir fried spring vegetables served with brown rice and tofu. A complete favourite. If u want to eat healthy and right and enjoy an absolute guilt free but delicious meal then this is the food for u. I could eat platefuls of this all my life. Fresh exotic vegetables tossed in olive oil and a slight sprinkle of mixed herbs along with unpolished brown rice and proteins in the form of tofu. Ideal meal after a spa visit. Felt so good eating this and the salad that I felt detoxed and lighter on my tummy. Wish I hadn’t eaten all that cheese earlier though. But I would come back for such meals without fail. 7. Payasam. Fresh creamy payasam made from tender coconut and cream. To die for. Just try it. 8. We tried 2 drinks too, though I’m sure this cafe is most suitable for coffee and tea lovers and I could see the best assortment of fragrant teas on a counter. But we needed a fresh juice so opted for the iron man which was made from apples, guava and pear. Just fantastic. No added sugar and completely natural. Again ideal to sip after a spa treatment. This menu was especially curated for us by chef Shyam and we owe him a heartfelt thanks for treating us with such an indulgent meal. The staff overall is pleasing and attentive. Would love to come back here again as it’s the best place to enjoy a good book over a cup of steaming coffee and some healthy anti oxidant meal. Please note: we happened to notice some captivating and spectacular Diwali hampers which are available here in 3 categories, namely, Peace, Joy Love which have been carefully assembled by the team for sale. We loved them and found them to be really great gifting options this Diwali.
