One of the finest banquet dining experiences I've ever had. Located at the top deck of Floatel, The Bridge offers you to indulge in a wide range of delicacies with a super scenic backdrop. Both buffet and ala carte menus are available. This place has both indoor outdoor sitting facilities. Cocktail mocktails taste exotic. You can enjoy the cool breeze of Ganges while sipping your drinks. The best time to visit is late afternoon. The staff are very courteous. Highly recommended both for romantic date family dining.
BOATHOUSE ,as name describes is a cafe and bistro resides on a floating boat . Its a nice pleasant place to hang out or to site and enjoy the beauty of kolkata with the scenric view of river. Its a very good for a romantic date with ur loved once’s. The entry of the hotel and cafe is very dramatic as we have to cross a railway line to enter the place.
Amazing place. Ambience is superb, staff and crew members are well mannered. Food quality is too good. It's situated opposite of SBI Headquarter.
The restaurant is by the river so as you might have guessed, the view is great. You need to to cross a literal bridge over the river to board the floating ship onto the Bridge (the restaurant). The restaurant is situated on the top deck with an amazing view of the river and the howrah bridge. The sunset looked amazing from there. The bridge also has a bar (I don't drink so I can't say how it is). The outdoor deck also looked amazing. We started off with a chicken soup. Twas good. The pictures came great though. We then asked for the lobster but they are our of it so we asked the waiter himself what he'd recommend. He asked us to try the green chilli chicken and it was good. The flavour went deep into the chicken and tasted great. We then ordered two grilled chicken steak sizzlers. The presentation looked great but unfortunately the chicken was over cooked. We told the waiter that but apparently he didn't understand or didn't even try to convey it ahead. However the overall view was good. We didn't have time in our hands so we dashed out. The sky was dusky and we were greeted by the lit up SBI building on the opposite side. Trivia : there's a train line crossing you have to cross first before you get to the restaurant. When a train is to pass, the gates close and the crossing bars come down.
