Dalma - Kolkata

This was probably my third or fourth visit. Went for bamboo mutton but was not available sadly. Ordered Mutton Thali and must say it was really tasty. Quality was superb, quantity could have been better. Prices are bit pinchy on pockets and on increasing side. But perfect for family foodies. Also lunch time will be good for more items from menu.

Me my wife have our lunch today@Dalma,Kolkata.We took one Special Veg Thali,One Veg Thali,One Rohi Machha masala.The complete meal was good. We loved it. The staffs were quite professional.I have good experience with Dalma-Bhubaneswar Dalma-Puri too.Thanks to Dalma for giving us pure Odia food outside Odisha.

This is small joint for odiya food. Stopped here for a weekend lunch. We had mutton thali, sag bhaja, dahi fish and chhena pora as dessert. Loved the homely taste of the food. Staff are courteous. Decor is decent. Good place to enjoy with family.<br/

Specially good for Odia people, other also like the taste of mati handi Curry(chicken/Mutton) and thali. Pakhala thali is the best over here. More than 50 times I had my lunch over here. Also I like the music over there.

We ordered one veg thali,one pakhala thali,chhattu patra poda(baked mushroom in mustard sauce),mahurali macha bhaja(anchovies fried with onion tomato and chilli).<br/ Veg thali had bhata(rice),dalma(daal with vegetables),aloo barbati bhaja(potato cowpea fry),aloo chatuni(mashed potatoes with tadka),saga(amaranth fry),khata(pumpkin tomato tamarind sauce),khiri(rice pudding),matar tarkari(dried yellow peas curry).<br/ <br/ Pakhala thali had pakhala(Rice with water and curd tempered with mustard grains and curry leaves),aloo barbati bhaja,saga,aloo chatuni,matar tarkari,badi chura(dried lentil cake powdered with mustard oil).<br/ <br/ Thalis were good. Mushroom and fish were amazing.<br/ <br/ A very good outlet serving odia cuisine at nominal rates and warm hospitality.<br/ Waiters are very courteous.
