Washroom available, stay song is gift. proper to head for buddies in group, likely no longer a first rate option for a romantic date.
Old restaurant with nostalgic decor. Prices are quite reasonable and they serve quality food. We had ordered sea food sizzler, chicken stroganoff, chicken cordon bleu and fried ice cream. All the items tasted good. However it is quite empty even in the rush hours, that is a sad thing to see. Staffs are polite as well. Overall it might not be very fancy like other trending places in Park Street but serves pocket friendly good quality food.
Always close to heart and nostalgic.... Was quite a regular customer during my first job which was nearby... No Wonder , I see the same old staff still in service in the same old courteous and friendly manner.. It's like going to time machine taking u bk 10 yes...love u MAGS!
Mags is located (and is a part of) on top of Magnolia. While Magnolia is more of a full fledged family restaurant, Mags is the informal pub bar that is more casual and caters to large groups hanging out over a beer. The food and drinks are cheaper here than other more illustrious members of the park street pantheon and you get all the popular brands of beers and drinks. The food is limited but very good here. Ask the servers what is the best item of the day. I tried the Chicken Chatpata here and it was wonderful. The servers are polite and homely. Visit if you are bored of Olypub but still looking for a cheap place to booze.
Look for Sanjay when you're there. He's the best. All other serves with due endurance and are good too. Mags now allows female guest too. Casual bar and pocket happy place for all guys.
