At least This little much was expected from a fine dining restaurant where we did spent approx 4K INR. I’m very upset about this because earlier when we called and reserved our seats, the manager promised to give us a small complementary cake play some background music. Also they won’t give you even a tiny bit of accompaniment like some extraBeetroot carrot noodles upon asking, saying rudely, “madam that’s not included, we don’t give such extra!” But the food there was really excellent I personally loved the prawn Sui Mai, Prawn sushi and chicken cheung fun, I strongly recommend the chocolate ball on fire and Pad Thai Noodles that’s very delicious. The decor and vibe of the restaurant is amazing but their staff behaviour and these extra services should have been a bit better. Overall I like the food so I’m gonna go next time, solely for the yummy food there, especially the sushi ‘s
PaPaYa is an upscale Asian cuisine restaurant and serves pretty delicious dishes. We tried dumplings, Bao, sushi and noodles. All of them were good. The quantity might be an issue for foodies who are habituated with city vfm restaurants (self retrospective). Would definitely recommend it if you like Asian cuisine. Note: The restaurant is situated on the top floor and you can get a beautiful view of the city. The entry is a bit confusing.
We made an impromptu plan to go for lunch and headed to PaPaYa. We didn't have a table booking but had gone early in the afternoon, so got space easily. Before we got the starters, we got the Amuse House palette cleanser, it was interesting, to say the least. A surprising burst of flavours and a piece of watermelon. For our starters we ordered 2 kinds of sushi, a Boston roll and a red dragon maki, both were perfect. The soy sauce was not overwhelming, so it complimented the wasabi quite nicely. We also ordered a soft shell crab salad. The crabs were fried to perfection and were super fresh and spicy. For our main course, we ordered a lamb spicy oyster, efu noodles with chicken and a seafood Khao pad kar pao. Before it arrived, we were given a litchi sorbet palette changer. It definitely was. Sweet and cold, it snapped us out of the taste we'd experienced with the starters. I can keep talking about the main course too, but I'll keep it short here. Everything was perfect. The only thing that didn't work for us was the dance music playing in the middle of the day at a rather loud volume, which distracted us from conversation. Towards the end of our lunch the music did change and was much better. Special mention of the staff, super polite and helpful. Our server had answers to all our questions and patiently waited as we argued over what to order.
I can't say enough about this place. from the drinks, tapas, to the main course until the sushi everything was perfect. it's a raised place, so it's not exactly pocket-friendly. but if they try to celebrate, this is the best place for Asian cuisine. please try them cocktails. they are amazing.
This place has amazing prospects, delicious eating and incredible service! I can't say enough good things about this place. special scream at our server, rahul, for great drinks and food suggestions
