I made sure to use Google Translate to convey that I wanted a vegetarian/vegan meal, but unfortunately, there was no tofu available. The accommodation at this place is fantastic, especially if you are visiting Konglor Caves. It is budget accommodation that goes above and beyond. The view is stunning, and I stayed in a 'bungalow with garden view' which had twin beds, front and back balconies with chairs, and even a hammock at the back. You can easily park your scooter right by the front door. The room was spacious, clean, and had mosquito nets on the beds - a first for me in Laos. The bathroom was larger than most, and the hot shower was not directly over the toilet, which was a pleasant surprise. The wifi worked well, and they even had hooks on the wall outside the bathroom, which was a convenient touch. The only issue was a leak from the sink in my room, which is common in Laos due to a poor connection where the pipe goes into the wall.
This restaurant and lodge offers many vegan options. I tried the noodle soup, which was delicious and affordably priced.

There are many vegan options available at this restaurant, but be sure to request them without fish sauce, egg, etc. The hot chili soup wasn't very spicy, but it was satisfying.
