Kantine Konstanz

Canteen is located in the courtyard of the Neuwerk building (next Aldi Sud). They have benches and table seats in the courtyard (most with parasols and an indoor seating area, mostly with long wooden tables and plastic chairs. The place is very simply decorated for lunch, but in the evenings there are numerous musical events as you notice, there are speakers on the walls, a discoball on the ceiling and a long bar to order drinks. The canteen lunch program usually consists of a daily choice between a meat or vegetable dish. Meat dishes cost 7.40€, while vegetable dishes amount to 6.40€. All lunches come with a selection of soup or salad. There are some extras I noticed was a delicious looking salad with chicken strips. I had the curry sausage with feet (7.40€, salad and drink). The meal was very good and the staff was efficient and friendly. This place is definitely popular and busy during the lunch hours, so get there early for a place. I would certainly visit again and recommend.

The kantine is the gastronomy area of the new cooperative.The new work is a self-managed cooperative in which trade, crafts, hobby, art and culture unite under one dach. Here you can eat well and in the evening there are alternating live events.

The kantine is at noon, as the name already says a kantine. there is not much choice (two dishes, one vegetarian) but eating is good and cheap. In the evenings are mainly at the weekend events, from diskothek to live concert. mostly these are at the weekend, but are occasionally external events under the week and almost always is "relaxed clubbing" with changing djs. at the weekend you should usually be there before 12 or half 1, otherwise it is very full.

The canteen in constanz has been offering a daily changing lunch menu (1 vegetarian and a meat-containing dish). There is a small selection of permanently available dishes (e.g. the recommended classic and "vegetarian" salads, if you don't agree to the daily offer). eating is actually almost always very tasty, even if it rarely comes to smaller ones. the staff is very friendly despite the large-scale operation and looks goodly liking. so you don't blame yourself when you forget - but only rarely happens. eating is served in a large room on several long tables. I would not now call the ambiente a cozy one, but rather a positiw buoyant. the space with the high deck that one still notices the earlier industrial use has a certain something. in the summer you can eat in the interior of the former industrial building. Unfortunately, the restaurant is often somewhat overrun at lunchtime, so you have to wait for a time and if you arrive with a larger group you sometimes have to spread to several places. the guests are mixed in age, with more recent public. I always like to come here.
