Super service. Top Location. Excellent prices. A good find for a smoker on a cold day smoking bars a few and far between to find
The approximately 15 sidewalk tables are placed on the Cobblestone sidewalk with a view of the main railway clock tower. I stopped them for lunch for everyone. After seeing the menu, I applied to the M7 dishes (Thai-Curry with Chicken and Vegetables) €7.50 and a large beer €2.90. Three small, deep-fried veggie rolls with sauce are included with the meal and brought out for a starter. It followed the bad excuse for a “Thai” meal. The “Thai” curry with chicken came with a serving of rice and a bunch of vegetable goulash. The vegetables consisted of paprika (green, yellow, red), peas, carrots, bean sprouts and your choice of meat surrounded by a floating muat of curry fluid. Since most walking tables are sitting on the inclined sidewalk, the moat is engraved on one side of the plate. This dish was extremely disappointing and I did not finish the meal as it does not represent real Thai food in any way. When I had enough of the disappointing meal, I asked to pay my bill. I informed the female employee that I did not enjoy this meal and that it was not authentic Thai food. She informed me that she understood my complaint. She told me that most Germans don't like the spiciness of real Thai food, so they have to make the food very mild. The bathroom smells damp and musky. The paper towel dispenser was broken and they simply placed rolls of paper towels in the broken towel dispenser. I can't recommend dinning in this facility because of the non-Thai ingredients and cheaply prepared meal. There are more, better ways to eat in Konstanz. Give him a pass!
