The Canoe House - Koror

Really nice bar/restaurant attached to Central Hotel in Koror. Excellent drinks and a very good bar food menu. We ate here several times while we were staying in Koror. We sampled and enjoyed the panini, burger, crispy wings (outstanding), BBQ pork sandwich, curly fries are the best side, and you must try their spam fries at least once! The drinks and local beers on tap were great. Staff is attentive and service was quick! They also have a Karaoke night that we missed. There are a couple of dart boards in the back and live music some nights. Also they have daily specials.

This has to be the most fun and lively bar in all of Palau. Whether you’re looking to unwind with a drink after a long day of adventuring, have a comforting and delicious meal, or looking to let loose with karaoke and a night out…Canoe House is the spot you’ll want to be. The bar has great vibes and is packed every weekend with locals, expats, and tourists. It seems like one of the few places in Palau where all people from all walks of life are able to come together for a drink, merriment, and perhaps a game of darts. The bartenders and staff are so friendly and take great care of their customers. I love Canoe House and whether you enjoy either a fun night out or a more laidback dinner/happy hour, Canoe House is definitely the place to do it!

A nice find downtown in Koror, close to all the hotels and connected to the Palau Central Hotel where I stayed. I had a great time here with friends from across Micronesia. The beer is cold, the food is delish, and the place gets hopping as the evening rolls. Lots of fun!

Very good service and atmosphere. We were a bit early, so things were relatively quiet. Our meals were tasty and delivered to our table quickly. Happy tummies had we as we walked back to the hotel.

The best bar/restaurant in Palau. The food is great with a varied menu and always severed hot and in a timely manner. I stayed in the hotel for a month and ate regularly lunch and dinner in the Canoe House, sampling most of the menu and never had a bad meal. The staff are great and make the atmosphere in the bar, the are friendly and attentive and make all every customer welcome. The bar gets extremely busy at lunch time but the standards never drop. It is a very popular bar later in the night for people enjoying a night out and has live music or Karaoke most nights. Palau has many good bar/restaurants and I had good food at them all, but the Canoe House stands out for it's atmosphere and ambiance.
