We only wanted a drink but had to queue behind people buying cooked food etc. The drink vending machine did not even work. We gave up and skiied off, with a very slow queue at the T-bar outside to get back to the slopes. Would be good if better run.
If you enjoy skiing around the resorts, starting from Perisher Front Valley and making your way to Guthega is a great option. The café is conveniently located for ski-in/ski-out access and has plenty of seating. They offer simple and satisfying food to keep you fueled for your adventures on the slopes.
I used to love going to The Burning Log for a quick snack or lunch, but it has really gone downhill this year. The food quality has decreased and the prices have gone up. I would suggest trying another restaurant instead.
We love skiing at Guthega, and while the food options may not be as expansive as those at Blue Cow or Perisher, Burning Log is a convenient and cozy spot that isn't as crowded. The food is standard for on-mountain dining, and the staff are friendly.
We had lunch here several times and it is a great place to eat. Very organised and quick with the service, even when the lines are huge! Make your way over to Guthega and enjoy a meal at Burning Log.
