Coconut Famous (kingfisher)

We came to this restaurant for a gathering and spending our bill more than 70rm and we chit chat inside with laughter but the staff very rude and said we are ‘bising!’ Is that a quiet restaurant that not allow us to have laughter in a Sunday afternoon? Not recommend with this kind of rude attitude staff!

Despite being the top dessert place in KK, the dessert is very disappointing. Ordered the coconut shake special, however the coconut is so old that the flesh is almost inedible. The service is excellent and the staff is friendly. The only problem is the poor ingredients used especially the main ingredient, very old coconut..

The shop is nicely set up the food it well presented. I would say Instagram worthy! ;p My friend and I just tried their Coconut Puding, but I don't really fancy this desert. Maybe because I'm so used to other Coconut by products, this one is nothing special for me. However, if you are foreign travellers, especially those from non tropical countries, you should give this coconut by products a try. The Coconut shake is very nice and is quite famous in Malaysia! So does the Coconut ice cream!

Honestly don’t be fool by the “Pandan Coconut” Coconut Shake flavour. Came here to try for first time today with family as we are local here. It’s very disappointing to learn that the “Pandan Coconut” is eventually NOT the real Pandan Coconut as it should be. This is just a normal Coconut where we can get in Malaysia Philippines locally anywhere. The price they are selling here RM7 is double the price of the local market just opposite next to the sea where they sell the same normal local Coconut type. Referring to “Coconut Shake” for RM12 what do you have in mind? It should be with FULLY real pure Coconut ingredients. Their Coconut Shake version is using the real coconut juice (positive mark) but mix with VANILLA ICE CREAM flavour! Let’s give it that ok they don’t sell or have any Coconut Ice Cream in menu but eventually they do sell it! Why don’t just mix with Coconut Ice Cream? When asked, they said oh have to add on additional price for EXCHANGING TO COCONUT ICE CREAM flavour. What a ridiculous and the taste is nor here or there! It’s not the matter of pricing that it’s high price that we cannot afford but people are willing to buy and pay for quality premium goods that you offer. Just please don’t do such dishonest business to cheat. If it’s just a local normal coconut where it’s not a Pandan Coconut species, just offer that you have two types of Coconuts and it’s not wrong to admit.

Pleasant little cafe serving coconut in various forms. Reasonable value and good to have a/c inside if desired. Free wifi also available with good signal. Staff okay. Coconut ice cream nice. Overall not exceptionalalthough it could be....
