Ferdinand's - Kota Kinabalu

We have just arrived back from 2 weeks in fabulous Sabah. We had 3 stays at the Magellan Sutera Resort. Rooms were well designed with a very serviceable bathroom and a balcony with gorgeous views of the gardens and harbour. Staff were great from reception to room cleaning staff. The food in the restaurants was probably some of the best we have tasted during our overseas trips. Would recommend this resort to anyone travelling to Kota Kinabulu.

Excellent staff and service. Lots of activities within the resort itself like table tennis, bowling, movies, golf, gym and olympic size pool for lap swimming which is great if you don't want to venture any further. We had a lovely garden view room and every evening staff would turn down our bed and would leave chocolates and fruit for us. Highly recommend The Magellan would definitely return if in Sabah.

Came for an event and stayed three nights managed to dine at the cafe, chinese restaurant and beach club. With the wife and kid and we did the usual by booking a double room as he likes to sleep with us on vacation somehow the housekeeping got wind that there were three of us after the first night there was an extra bed and towels, toiletries, etc in the room when we came back on the second afternoon. Very impressed. My boy enjoyed the pool and beach, with the bouncy castle slides beside the pool. In fact, he enjoyed it so much that he got sunburnt despite our repeated application of sunblock. The view from the beach club was excellent at sunset, as was the barbeque dinner. Chinese restaurant was great as well loved the boneless chicken, deep fried fish and beef. Not my first time at Sutera, and definitely won't be the last.

This hotel is so awsome i totely like it and the hotel have so beautyful view and great place to chill and hang out wit family and friend spa is so good that why i like sutera harbour so much sutera harbour is awsome place and also got some 7thk run i totely gone join the run i wont miss it hehehe...
