Super nice little tavern, a little hidden away... Last night we went to this simple but authentic restaurant. There are no menus, so you have to take what is there... In our case it was pork and lamb, which was prepared perfectly by “Mom”. There was also the “world's best local wine from Greece” : All in all, it was by far the nicest restaurant visit we have had on Crete so far. In addition, the price was extremely fair. Oh Wassilie, (that's the name of the operator) ..., it was great as always. The food here is homemade, freshly prepared and always of a high standard. The owner takes you to the kitchen to show what they made for that day. It varies by day. You get to have different Greek specialties and they are delicious. Made with real quality meat and other ingredients. You get a pitcher of wine and a small pithcer of liquer plus deserts. All you need to do is see the food in kitchen, say OK, and you get all that for 14€ per person. Great place! Food: 5
