We order the same thing every time and always eat until we can't handle anymore. However, the service is HORRIBLE 90% of the time! They always seat us right after we walk in, and sometimes they'll serve us water while they make our drinks and sometimes wel wait 10 minutes before someone even takes our drink order (my husband went to bathroom and back after we were seated they still hadn't taken our drink order). Usually we don't order an appetizer bc we just eat the salad and bread, but that's kind of like the drink deal..sometimes well get it when we get our drinks, sometimes it'll be right before we get our food. Another thing is the serving..if you order spaghetti for yourself, it's PLENTY, enough to share! But, when more than one person orders it, they give you it in one bowl with the same portion, just a couPle more meatballs and Raviolis. When I order something I want my portion and they can have theirs, not all together to share and pay twice the amount. Also, that same time we order 4 dinners togo and told them please make sure they are separate bc they are goin separate places and they put them together so we had to get it separated. One more thing, we've went in right after they opened in the evening around 5 and was the only customers and it still took at least 10 minutes to get our drinks. It's also pricey! We've tried Pete's, food isn't as good, but service, privacy, unlimited servings, etc is a lot better!!
Claw-riffic!. I have ate at alot of Itailian restaurants, and this place has been among the best. You start with a very nice tasting salad with vinegar followed by spaghetti, meatballs, and raviolis! All are amazing, but then comes the real treat, a very generous entree... Like always, I ordered the crabclaws, and they were GREAT! They were larger than I normally see and cooked to perfection! I actually like this place better than the big named place across the street. Come here for a great meal!
Ron. I have been a customer of Isle of Capri for approximately 50 years. I live and practice dentistry in Norman, Okla. . I have an opportunity to frequent many restaurants in the okc metroplex. Isle of Capri is y favorite of all the restaurants in Norman, Okla. or in OKC.
We feed here at least four times a month. Superb steak and lambs are delicious.
O how I miss it. I loved to eat there when I am in the area. Since I moved to to WA can't find such good ribeyes, salad, ravioli and warm friendly service. One of the best resturants I have been in during 50 years of travel and eating.
