Sadly it wasn 't the case.. The disappointing starter of Onion pagoda was just sliced onion coated in batter and deep fried. The thick poppadoms were served with a bland green 'chutney ' which resembled a watery pea soup. The only star of the show was the chicken tikka. This was tasty succulent and the only winner. The chicken biryani was dry and served with what looked like a watered down yoghurt dressing. The chicken was perhaps dry because we were getting rushed through the starters as they were desperate to serve up our mains even although the restaurant was empty. My partner 's mutton curry was fine albeit on the fatty side but he was able to enjoy most of it. The nan bread was dry and resembled a chapati so maybe this is more traditional than what we had expected. To be fair , upon seeing that my meal was largely untouched the staff offered to accept limited payment but as fault may have been on my side in terms of expectations, we paid the full amount. I am only writing this review as this Indian meal was as far removed from what we expected it to be and felt we ghad to balance out some of the other reviews to stop people making the same mistake we did. Go and try it for yourself you may be pleasantly surprised, then again you may not.
We ordered garlicnan and sheekkebab and butterchicken old chicken was cooked in spicy masala was very worst. Service and hospitality was very bad. Never ever try this restaurent insha allha
We visited this restaurant on our first trip to Langkawi several years ago and have gone back on our subsequent visits. Following Covid, like many other places since, the decor does need a little updating but the food is just as good as it always has been and the staff very attentive, good selection of meal choices and very reasonable prices. We'll worth a visit.
Good Indian restaurant, since there are no so many options of restaurant in pantai cenang, we came across this restaurant and decided to give it a go. Staff is friendly and helpful, menu with so many options, and tasty delicious food. One thing to mention that, the food portion is quite small, a person could easily finish two main dishes. Order takes a while to be served.
Me and my darling wife went on a hot afternoon searching for delicious indian food fortunate enough to zeroed down to this restaurant. Where a very courteous gentlemen Sonu helped us to my wife's wish for crab curry in desired style. We both enjoyed and remember till date. Hope all staff members and restaurant recovers from covid times and we get to visit again.
