Contribuisci feedbackAbsolute perfection. This is one of my fave must visit spots when I’m back in KL and looking for Japanese food. It’s on the pricier side of things but worth every penny. I’ve never left disappointed. The service is impeccable and it is such a delight to see Chef Ori work his magic. Just looking at the photos again is making me hungry
One of my fav omakase joints bfr covid hit, finally managed to get a booking after so long. Food was good as always. I enjoyed the various sauces fishes. Engawa was super underwhelming though, it was quite bland for me compared to before. Chef Ori was also rather quiet that night, could be tired from the daily routine. All in all, an ok experience.
Consistency is the key at sushi ori. good quality ingredients at a decent price with attentive service as norm. the facility of chef cook ori has served some of the best sushi in the city for many years. his popularity has reached epic proportions in recent years. reservations for counterseat must be made in advance. the menu of this season is easy to underwhelm. However, this is a quality certificate that is served in its earlier menus. would still be recommended if with a more open and vain mind.
My first omakase experience. Even it was a very expensive lunch, but worth it. The chef was well prepared and explained every single dish. Overall the food is great, even the chawamushi is superb, very soft and creamy. One of my favourite sushi is the baby tuna sushi. It just melt in the mouth and word cannot explain the superb flavour.
If they still have a day to live and decided to spend it with a traditional Japanese style omakase and not have the luxury for mistakes, they visit sushi ori. each nitriri was handmade by him, no matter how often they visited, the consistency will be there. it is a traditional-style omakase so expect to experience the ingredients themselves in its finest. if after a foie gras with otoro topped with uni topped with kaviar truffle leaf sushi, this is not the place a special place to visit every season for Grandmakase lovers.
