Oyo 836 Mandurah Room Cafe - Kuching

Small hostel/hotel near the waterfront. Nothing beautiful, but it is clean and the rooms have a decent size. A little loud when I have to find a problem, but for me it was more than okay.

Good accommodation for very cheap price with free breakfast! I have mine for RM 55 per night by Air Asia Go. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is also very delicious as this hotel is also a café. The iron is available outside your room and there are no hot water heaters. But overall is very good! I would also recommend it to other people.

The staff was great. I look late, the uncle really nice, very helpful. Room was okay, spacious, but dirty, for others might be okay, but the floor is not really clean, toilet somewhat dirty, but acceptable. One thing is please add more staff to help the uncle in the night shift. I saw him like 24 hours, he should only check and check, management. Your hotel is short-occupied, please revise new staff. not logical lah Uncle handle everything himself, he needs rest. without elevator, very tiresome.

Room clean and tidy. Breakfast good despite limited choices. The owner can consider to add a stand for hangers in the room. Need to watch out for steep stairs for the room heading to top floor. The chinese boss and most workers are friendly, except a short guy worker, whom I think he should learn to talk and behave politely. He appeared to be so demanding, arrogant and rude in intonation though we asked him politely during a breakfast time and upon check out. An unexpected letdown :

Very bad experience in booking this hotel via Agoda. Booking confirmed and fully paid but when turn up i was told by operator that room not available. Lodged report to Agoda but hotel's reply was i did not turn up. I will never book this hotel anymore.
