Contribuisci feedbackA small coffee roasting in the Kollonaden von Kühlungsborn West. Very much attention to detail, taste coffee and also different varieties to take, including chocolates and small sweet snacks. Hot chocolate a dream. Try it.
We visited the small shop on Friday noon. The name Kühlungsborner Kaffeerösterei sounded promising for us. The lady in the vault was friendly and explained the coffee. So I ordered an espresso and a cappuccino. I was shocked by the preparation. You don't want to pick up, so we tried the coffee. The espresso was so subextracted that he barely tasted for something. Shame! With a duration of estimated under 10 cuts no wonder. The cappuccino was so badly prepared that you couldn't drink it. Three quarters of the cup were filled with "Espresso". (In a fluid flow in the single screen). The “milk foam” is made in a small pot where the old milk is re-inflated. The steam lance is obviously not cleaned by the process. Actually, I wanted to give my feedback on site, but unfortunately the store was only filled with people and we had to continue. I need to ask the operator at this point: Do you know how to use an espresso machine? Depending on who just served the day (workers or owners), I would strongly advise a Barista course or train the employees accordingly. Without proper espresso preparation, you can also save the effort with roasts and fresh grinding. There is nothing in the cup with this method of preparation. What lands here in the cup is rather a random product. We didn't buy coffee beans anymore.
After a bicycle tour we were looking forward to a good cappuccino. For 3,50€ you can actually expect... Unfortunately, we were completely disappointed in the preparation. A brewery should have heard of the extraction time and the correct preparation of milk foam. Very disappointing for people who want to drink a well prepared coffee. In our opinion, the many positive reviews are not justified for a coffee roasting company.
Amazingly, this coffee roastery is completely empty, although the quality is correct. Four comfortable high chairs, very good coffee, but unfortunately no cake. Sellers can learn something else.
That's a business or shop I'm not going to visit because of the unkindness of the lady behind the sales strike. I don't know such a behavior from other roasting companies....actually a pity, because the coffee tastes very good.....for that it is also very expensive.
