So far every visit was a highlight of our holiday in the Baltic Sea. The ambience and service create an atmosphere in which we have always felt welcome as a guest. And the food, each for itself, just fantastic.
During a visit to Kühlungsborn we visited the restaurant at Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten. The food was excellent, the service was top. Only the wine card could have offered more alternatives and oriented regionally.
Three days ago the Orangerie restaurant stopped by and we reserved a table today. After arrival we wait for minutes on the stairs until the reservation was found. We have a nice table on the side of the terrace. The reception was pretty cool, but so good. The only service had to do well on the terrace and had to help in the restaurant. Again and again she served the apparently half-board guests their meal without taking note of us. After beaten 15min without order it became too colorful and we complained. There was an apology, but still no acceptance of our order. Then we went and ate somewhere else. Therefore, the conclusion is negative. Too bad the location and the menu were very promising.
The food is truly an eye-catcher and a palate joy at the same time... it is very clear, but nevertheless very tastefully dressed. During our regular stays in Kühlungsborn we eat at least once there and I got my marriage request there;
