Ocean Basket Haasendal Gables

My wife and I recently visited the Ocean Basket at Haassendal Gables, and we had a great time. When we arrived the restaurant wasn 't that busy, but after a couple of minutes it was almost completely packed. We were amazed as this was a Tuesday evening, so if you want to ensure you get a table it might be a good idea to make a booking beforehand. We ended up having some Sushi for starters and shared a 'Solemate ' platter as our main. Everything was very tasty and I can honestly say the Solemate platter is a lot of food (we couldn 't finish it). To put the cherry on top, our waitress was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We will most definitely be back in the future.

In fact, they were the best prawns I have ever tasted for a semi fast food place. I wish I could put into words the sheer delight that filled my taste buds when I took my first bite! The prawns were plump, succulent, and cooked to perfection. The flavor was extraordinary, a harmonious blend of freshness and natural sweetness that was nothing short of heavenly. The menu at Ocean Basket offers a wide variety of seafood options, but I must confess that the prawns stole the spotlight for me. However, I did have the chance to sample some Sushi and Grilled fish and they were equally impressive. To complement the delectable seafood, Ocean Basket also offers an impressive selection of wines and craft cocktails. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring that every bite was a fulfilling one. Had lunch here with colleagues for a work function. I ordered the Platter for 1 with chips and grilled calamari. Left in a happy mood and with a full tummy, because it tasted amazing.
