Sochu is a special Japanese fleet that has a rich history and a great variety and the owner Mr Nori is an expert. He always says that his idea is to connect people from all over the world over traditional Japanese liqueur Sochu. When you visit, he can explain the rich culture and history of the Japanese liqueur. He is also very good in English. It has a very wide range of sochu including rice to brown sugar sochu. Sochu can have different taste and alcohol percentages, so that after visiting the place you will feel again and again to taste all varieties. I'm sure you'll have a great time.
I really recommend this bar, where you can try more than 200 different types of Shochu, a traditional Japanese distilled alcoholic drink will not be confused with the will. Nori-San, the cool and friendly owner, is the best bartender I ever know. He has a sincere passion over Shochu and thanks to his flowing English he can introduce you to the Shochu culture and tell everything about the qualities of this mind while tasting Japanese style finger food. As my friend and I loved this bar so much we visited her twice and in both occasions we spent great time and made friends with locals. In any case one of the best memories of our trip, you will absolutely enjoy this place as we. Thanks for everything Nori-San!
Fantastic atmosphere and the bartender is very cool. He knows everything about Shochu and will give you a full lesson about the history and culture of the drink. He speaks excellent English and is super friendly. It's a bit hard to find, but worth the search!
Amazing experience... Even if you don't know anything about high!! I came to Glocal on the recommendation of a stranger I met in Kyoto (in the Kyoto Beer Lab by a colleague Aussie, a Sydney Sider recommended to visit Glocal and I am so glad that I listened to this man's recommendation. The owner, Nori, is so friendly and friendly he clearly wants to share his passion with the world. This bar is English friendly (Nori speaks Aussie English and very welcoming for foreigners not from the unpleasant and somewhat hidden location... This bar is worth looking for only the social aspect. In addition, there is a special tasting flight only for foreigners, so if you are new to high, you can try a variety and learn what you like. It was such a beautiful experience to try shochu and to hear about shochu from a local and also make friends with other local and international customers Nori is very personal and will each chat with each other in a bilingual Japanese/English mix in no time. I will recommend Glocal to anyone visiting Kyushu/Kumamoto.
If you want to try Japanese traditional Shochu, you should come here! Noriyuki-san who is owner of this bar can explain about shochu and history in English. Also he can recommend base on your taste profile. shoshu kumamoto 焼酎 熊本
