The food was average, a little greasy and most dishes were just okay. However, we enjoyed the rice with vegetables and the eggplant was tasty. Considering the reasonable prices, we would give this establishment 4 stars overall, but for the food alone, we would rate it 3 stars.
The buffet food is simple, but surprisingly good. It's very affordable and the restaurant is always bustling with customers. The background music of Buddhist chanting adds to the unique dining experience.
The buffet had around fifteen options including various vegetable dishes, tofu variations, dumplings, and soups, along with a few types of rice and smaller meals. The restaurant was a bit small and diners shared tables, but for only $16 it was a great deal. The all-you-can-eat buffet offered high-quality food at a bargain price. It may be a bit difficult to find, but the pictures posted online helped. Overall, highly recommended if you are in the area.
By far the best vegan place I have eaten in China and the price can not beat $2 for a buffet with a huge selection of different foods, including vegan deserts, rice noodles, dumplings, boiled vegetables and more. I was concerned that any vegan place in China would be too heavily dependent on oily meat substitutes, but this place is certainly the exception. It is a bit difficult to find, but a previous reviewer published a great explanation where to go and with that it was pretty easy.
Simple buffet food, but not bad at all. eat good and crazy cheap. very busy. soundtrack of the Buddhist chant.
