Stopped here to just get a refreshing drink- but ended up haveing one of the best hamburgers ever! Reasonably priced, nice atmosphere and very relaxing n the outdoor( but shaded) deck.
We drove from the coast up a winding, sometimes steep road to Kuranda, questioning if the journey would be worth it. However, upon arrival, we knew it was. While the Sky Lift may have been easier and offered fantastic views, we had everything we needed in the car. The market nestled among the trees was captivating, with a diverse range of stalls showcasing local crafts and snacks. We sampled various treats as we wandered from stall to stall, and can personally attest to the exceptional coffee at the cafe. It was more of a visit to a special village market in the rainforest than a traditional meal experience.
We came here for lunch. We had the lunch special of pumpkin soup for $10. It was quite good but a tad salty. It was filling. The service is quick and friendly. The drinks here are over priced. But i guess that is kuranda.
Appeared to have a nice menu with good prices, however didn't have items available that were listed on the menu. Got a chocolate milkshake that wasn't a milkshake - tasted like bland chocolate milk. Had spent $40 on lunch and then went to buy a water afterwards with eftpos and was told "minimum spend ten dollars" in a rude tone despite having just spent $40 on food. Poor customer service!
