They offer three tapas plates for $39 or you can buy individual dishes for usually between $10 and $15. We had the patatas bravas, the fried eggplant, chorizo, pork belly, chicken skewers and the meatballs. The fried eggplant was nothing special but not offensive. Every other dish was outstanding. The meatballs and pork belly were moist. The chorizo was perfectly cooked just a little burnt. The patatas bravas were moist and bursting with flavour. The chicken skewers were tasty on their own (and not at all dry, as chicken skewers can be), but they came with a little dipping sauce that complimented them perfectly. The wine was reasonably priced and there was a large selection. The staff were friendly and helpful.I am a big tapas fan and was very impressed by Degraves Espresso. I will be back and will be recommending it to anyone that will listen.
So today’s request for a strong almond milk latte was spot on. My coffee was strong, creamy and had a very smooth after taste. A real winner in the coffee stakes and a great kick start for my Friday morning.KD
Had drinks and some nibbles here. Decided to have the Chicken Rissotto which was amazing and glad we had that. Place is perfect for a coffee. Love the buzz this area has in general. Plenty of distractions for kids too
Robust coffee and truly one of the best I’ve tasted. Coffee may be prevalent in Melbourne but this is a cup above the rest. Service was efficient and very friendly.
Best cafe on the street!<br/ <br/ I've been going here for 5yrs+. Coffee is fantastic and prices fair.<br/ <br/ highly recommend the vegetarian panini or the green eggs. late breakfast on the weekend is the best<br/ <br/ If you are in Melbourne for only 1 night make sure you get breakkie here.
