If I had to choose one cuisine to eat every night it would be Thai food. The bright punchy flavours, all the herbs and chillies, the freshness in every dish, oh my I couldn’t imagine anything better. Ghin Kopi’s menu is as a large as me and with pictures! I love seeing what a dish looks like, especially when i’ve never had it before. And what do you do when you have a menu that big and choose just a few dishes seems impossible? You order a feast.
A small but nice little thai restaurant. I like my yellow chicken curry, it had lots of chicken and a bit of zest. Serving could be a little bit bigger but it was pretty good.
I 've been here a few times. Sometimes it 's great and sometimes a bit average. The staff are friendly enough but often look like they 're not fully 'present ' or 'mindful ' that I am a customer and therefor a king. It seems they would rather be on reality TV but wouldn 't we all and this behaviour is common with people in Windsor Prahran so I don 't expect too much. Anyway, tonight 's chicken fried rice was a bit claggy and low on vegetables and nobody there told me I looked hot so this instantly results in the loss of a star. The decor is ok too but that isn 't as important as people finding you attractive. I 'll let you know if I have better luck next time.
Mostly just get takeaway from here. Always on time and the food is always good so no complaints really. There's heaps of Thai places around Prahran/Windsor/South Yarra but I keep going back to this one.
