Best fish chips I’ve had in a long time! Ordered via Uber eats food was delivered quickly. Lovely, fresh perfectly seasoned grilled blue grenadier. Delicious chips accompanying Greek salad. Would definitely order from here again

Cannot remember the last time I had a piece of grilled fish so fresh and well cooked at such a reasonable price. Firm and tender. Also impressed by the prompt and friendly service. Will come again

One of my favourite fish and Chippy places ever ! They never seem to fault their service and food. First time I’ve had their sweet potato fries and I love them! Crispy on the outside but soft and sweet on the inside. Nothing to fault here, will be coming back for my fish and chip cravings.

Decided to get some lunch from here. The fitout of the shop looks great, it’s fairly big, lots of tables and it wasn’t busy. You can sit inside the restaurant or out in the food court. I ordered the special of the day which was the Dory and it just melted in my mouth. The flavor was very nice and it was cooked well. The lady that served us was delightful. We were asked if everything was okay with our meal while we were eating. So I would say great service. Would I dine in again. Definitely!!!!

As with all small businesses, I've had non cookie cutter experiences at Hunky Dory Burwood East, All of them however have legitimately ranged between good, great and really quite amazing. Huge credit to the establishment. Food is always fresh and cooked with care. The staff, including the younger front of house kids are always very friendly and attentive. I also love the diversity of patrons.  Our interactions with the owners have also been very warm and caring. You can tell they are in business for the right reasons. We're such big fans. Keep up the great work if you're reading this guys (and thanks for the extra piece of snapper and choccies when i came in to dine with my little daughter boss man!!
