Only good thing so far happened in 2020 is that this month our IG page completes one year... Wooohoo!!<br/ <br/ And to celebrate this we received this amazing Hazelnut Chocolate chiffon cake from @icake_melbourne <br/ .<br/ .<br/ We are so happy to have celebrated First birthday of @we.eat.travel.love with this super yummy, soft and spongy cake.<br/ .<br/ Super stoked and so blessed to have support of the lovely Insta fam and all the amazing people that we met in this past year!!

What beautiful cakes at this store. We ordered this to be delivered and it was free shipping over $60. The Oreo crepe cake is so good, perfect layers and the Oreo can really be tasted. <br/ <br/ As a milk tea lover, the milktea and lychee was amazing. The milktea was very aromatic and topped with the lychees and white pearls, they were very sweet and pleasing to smell. <br/ <br/ I was so impressed with the blueberry cheesecake, sweet but not to overpowering. The blueberries were so fragrant and tasty. The cheese was so fluffy yet rich and the perfect texture.

Tucked away down Boverie Street, city side of the university, iCakes displays the cutes cakes of dreamland. Even if you are not into plush unicorns, flower walls and tiaras, you can still appreciate the layers of flavoured cream and fluffy sponge. All creations are made in Oakleigh and sold at both their Oakleigh and Carlton stores.

WHO DOESN’T LOVE CAKE??<br/ We all do especially when they look astonishingly pretty!<br/ <br/ We were lucky to try the beautiful watermelon cake, delicious choc opera, and Taro Pearl with Mochi Box. These cakes were like spongy cushions of happiness and had the finest texture. <br/ We fell in love with their watermelon cake which had a base of almond cookies layered with pandan cream. And if you love dark chocolate as much as we do, you will surely enjoy every bit of that choc opera. <br/ <br/ Also, they customize cakes for all our celebration needs!!<br/

This review is for the made to order cakes and not the cafe, but all you need to know is that the cakes here are delicious. First time trying their cakes was when a friend shared a slice of the Fruity Cone Cake. Airy and soft chiffon cake, paired with a dreamy vanilla frosting and adorned with strawberries and blueberries. Bright and fresh flavours, and beautiful texture. <br/ <br/ Second time was the durian cake. This was just as amazing, maybe even better than the fruity cake. Because durian! Fluffy sponge cake, layered with durian flesh and frosting, this was wonderfully moreish yet light on palate due to the pillowy soft sponge cake.<br/ <br/ Custom made cakes as well as daily cakes are available, and you must check out the gorgeous designs. Definitely makes you want to celebrate every day with cake.
