Honestly I love my Indian and have tried it across the country and this was absolutely delicious. Maybe the service is isn’t perfect but it’s more than made up for by beautiful food. I was a little hesitant with the mixed reviews but was glad I gave it a go! Recommend <br/
Classic Indian with a waterfront view Mint O Mustard is a must try!<br/ <br/ Set amongst Docklands’ bustling Newquay Promenade, Mint O Mustard is a waterfront Indian restaurant serving up authentic, mouth watering dishes. You’ll find flocks of locals, tourists, corporates and shoppers popping in for a quick bite and coffee, or sitting down for a three course banquet. <br/ <br/ Elegant copper interiors create a relaxed yet sophisticated ambience matching their exceptional wine and craft beer selection, as well as their extensive cocktail list. Aperol spritz anyone? The abundant space and outdoor seating on the water caters for all occasions and large groups, from family dinners to Christmas parties. <br/ <br/ The seasonal menu offers authentic Indian food using fresh local produce prepared daily on site. The sweeping variety of small and large sharing plates accommodates any appetite or craving, and there are plenty of vegetarian dishes too! We loved the spicy tandoori Mushrooms, as well as Mint’s signature dish – the Paneer Lollipops. We recommend choosing a few curries and vegetable dishes to share, contrasting the fiery spice with fresh flavours. The Goan Fish Curry and Malai Kofta are great choices. Add a side of coconut rice and garlic naan, and you’re set for a perfect Indian feast! <br/ <br/ Sweet tooths will delight in the dessert menu, which includes a variety of traditional and contemporary dishes. The indulgent Nutella Naan served with vanilla ice cream and strawberries is the most popular choice and for good reason – it’s delectable!
Delicious food My favourites are fish tikka, kadai paneer, chicken tikka and rotis Biryani items are ok interestingly when I said spicy they added many chilli flakes to biryani :P Ambience is good for parties Can be reached by trams 35,70
Authentic Indian food. Mint-o-Mustard serves actual spicy Indian food! They also use whole spices in their curries as well, showing that they are using authentic spices. There are no mild versions of their dishes available. Medium is the least spicy level you can get at Mint-o-Mustard. The vindaloo is amazing! Only criticism is that they use broccoli in their food. Broccoli isn’t normally used in Indian cooking.... plus it’s my least favourite vegetable! Luckily I could give the broccoli to one of my friends! <br/ <br/ Also their garlic naan is the second best naan I’ve tried in Melbourne! Finally another place that serves good garlic naan!
