Between four of us we ordered:<br/ Croquettes loved the mix of flavours and textures with chicken pieces inside<br/ Tbone very well cooked and tender for the cut <br/ Porterhouse x 2 also cooked to perfection. <br/ Fries amazing aioli<br/ <br/ Overall a great meal and service is super friendly!
An absolute gem in a location you 'd not expect to find such a place. I heard about On The Bone from a 3aw morning radio segment and the food lived up to the hype, as did the super friendly and knowledgeable proprietor George. His advice on how to manage a table of 6 was spot on, as was his wine recommendation (on the menu under the title 'orange ' it was one the best whites I 've ever tasted). We had a bit of everything it seemed and there was more food than we could handle, try as we might, The squid, cold cuts, T-bone steak and terrine were surpeb and we had a fantastic night. I 'll be back soon. Can 't wait to try the Porterhouse this time. Oh, the Big M mess was the perfect desert too.
Best Souvlaki EVER!!! Yes the wait was long ; yet it was definitely worth it. Staff kept us advised as to the delay in having our food served. Travelled from Preston to experience this most delicious food. Great to see a small business thrive during these very challenging COVID times with the lack of staff. Well done all. I will be BACK!
We’ve been coming here regularly from day 1 when they were known as ON THE BONE. Whether we were dining in (pre-lockdown) or ordering take away online, the food is always consistent without fail in terms of taste, quantity and most of all the overall quality. Thanks George, Isaiah and the Souv Baby crew for the amazing souvs
So . Damn . Good! Crispy squid, pita with dips, chips with feta and of course the star of the show the souvs. Do yourself a favour and feast here. Yum.
