I had a take away coffee from here. The service was alright, and efficient.. <br/ <br/ I was going to order a plain croissant but for $4.50 I decided not to . In fact I didn’t see prices anywhere to be honest except on the coffee cups <br/ <br/ My strong skinny latte was good, the coffee had a nice flavour, and there was some really good milk froth. It was busy and unfortunately my coffee tasted a bit watery, but I,d definitely go back. <br/ <br/ Great for coffee.
3.5<br/ Revisited Supagrind today as our house was well and truely out of breakfast items. I settled on the breakfast coffee deal of a ham cheese and tomato toastie which came with a small for for $8. Timing worked perfectly as coffee came out at the same time as my toastie. I enjoyed both but was quite impressed by the sourdough bread used... quality! <br/ Plenty of special options s and a great looking case. Glad to see the walk up window was getting a workout too. <br/ <br/ <br/ Previous Review<br/ They have been working on the Foyer of 664 Collins Street for the longest time so its great to finally see a cafe take shape. Quite a stylish fitout with leather chairs and booth tables not to mention the substantial cabinet full of goodies and the walk up coffee window. I feel a little for the share number of staff trying to squish into the active corner of this cafe where everything was happening. <br/ <br/ I ordered a skinny latte and a raspberry white choc muffin from one of the less squished up staff members who was very pleasant especially when she informed me of the $5 coffee muffin deal. The coffee was absolutely delicious. I didn’t get a chance to see what blend they use but will be sure to come back and find out because it could easily be my new daily dose... the coffee in my work building is just awful compared to this. The muffin was sweet and (I’m going to use that word and I know some people hate it) moist and again would return for the three or so varieties they had.<br/ <br/ So yes, only a coffee and muffin review, but a very good start to this new Docklands cafe.<br/
Best coffee In The morning. Love this place. My usual routine. There is a new store on Bourke street
The long macchiato served up was initially a bit on the bitter side, but that initial sharp pang dissipated to result in a fairly high-grade coffee.<br/ <br/ The bacon and egg muffin didn’t look all that great on the outside, but just like The Dear Luncher, the frightening exterior should be ignored. The Dear Luncher, just like this breakfast muffin, is beautiful on the inside. Well-formed egg (ideal amount of yolk drip), fatty bacon and wonderful cheese keeping this wee muffin glued together nicely.<br/ <br/ Supagrind goes all-right, you’d be pretty happy if this was the coffee shop at the bottom of your work building.
