Contribuisci feedbackGot lamb korma, chicken madras, 1x garlic naan, 2x naan, palau mango lassi. Was on time, and I did enjoy my meal, I was just a little let down by the lack of flavour in my curries, I ordered mild as the friend I was sharing with has a hard time with too much spice so I attribute it to that but I thought they'd compensate a bit with more seasoning, no real biggie though, would probably order again anywho.
This is a good place if you're craving Indian food in Brunswick. Might be a hit and miss if you don't know what you're ordering. Don't expect much of a dine in experience, there is no ambience as such. Get the food delivered or take it home and have at leisure. : <br/ <br/ Chicken/ Lamb Biryani Not bad at all but also not the best (well, every Indian is going to compare it with the ones back at home! . Quantity is good for two, get decent sized meat pieces. It may seem a bit dry and you will find yourself having more of the sweet yoghurt to decrease the dryness. The staff is very understanding, if you want it with or without the nuts and spices, they will gladly adjust it for you.<br/ <br/ Butter Chicken Your standard butter chicken. The hubs enjoys it, I prefer something more spicy. Again, they will adjust the spice levels for you. <br/ <br/ Chef's Special Chicken One should try this! I can't really describe the masala that is used in the dish but it really works! Tandoori chicken pieces in a very different from the typical base of Indian gravy. We always order it medium spicy and it is delicious. The quantity is really good, and taste is even better.<br/ <br/ Their butter naan and Kheema naans are good too!
Serves Halal chickenI tried the chef special half gravy. The food was VFM in just $10. Taste wise also it was great. The quantity was huge with great chicken lumps in it. Half serving would be sufficient for 2.
Popped in for a eat in meal. Ordered the butter chicken and rice. It came out piping hot and was delicious. While most orders are takeaway and the restaurant is plain seats/tables itself it has a quiet atomosphere without any music/radio playing. Quite peaceful after a busy day. Enjoyed my meal.
Had their Mango Lassi and Tandoori Chicken (Half). The Tandoori Chicken was delish as the numerous spices packed a punch! It was fragrant with the spices and quite spicy (in a good way). Their Mango Lassi was satisfactory and was sufficient to tone down the hotness in the dish.<br/ <br/ On a separate occasion, I ordered their Rogan Josh and Lamb Vindaloo. Both the Rogan Josh and Lamb Vindaloo were piquant, with the latter being relatively more spicy. The both the lamb were tender and their gravies were flavourful. However, I favoured the Lamb Vindaloo as it was spicier.
