Had the vegetarian pho, was very hot, soup, spicy and served in very large part, enough to share for two people. Viet ice cream coffee was also refreshing and delightful, with fresh strong coffee. Sugar cane juice was freshly comminuted and also delicious. The staff was very friendly, all smiles. Bathroom on the first floor, very clean and well maintained. Definitely one of the better culinary experiences in Bali.
The food is amazing, the place is very sweet and the service was very good. For drinks we ordered the pineapple Jackfruit cocktail (heaven , Mango pomelo sago (also heaven). The food we got was the crispy chicken bites (I will say nothing but one, dry spices australian manced beef balls noodles and banh bao buns (they did this with chicken because we do not eat pork. It is not the cheapest place, but certainly worth your money. I would definitely recommend this place.
Having tried NamNam in Singapore and Jakarta, I would say the Bali branch does not disappoint. Food was nice, especially the pho. The Bahn Mi uses a softer version of the bun rather than the crispy hard baguette version, which I prefer. The drinks selections are fun in variety. It uses the same system as with other NamNam, where you gotta write your own order by ticking the menu list. What was a bit turn down for me, was that we ordered some dessert menu in the same order list with our main; however the dessert actually was served the earliest. Would've prefer for the staff to ask whether we'd want to have our dessert to be served after the meal. Interior is very nicely designed! Concept seems to leans to urban casual hangout. Got some comfy outdoor space as well for those who'd just come in for drinks and few snacks/smoke at the back of the ground floor (overlooking paddyfield) and on the terrace on the 2nd floor. Another big plus for me was the AC and valet parking for cars. Overall I believe NamNam is currently one of the best Vietnam dining option in town.
This was my first experience with Viet food. It was nice, but forgetable, which might not be due to the restaurant itself. Staff wasn't very well trained: they didn't know details abot food, such as what is used for making the ftagrant rice. They said it was made with coconut milk, but it clearly wasn't. Children get colouring pencils and a colouring sheet to occupy themselves, which is great. In my opinion the food is overpriced, but I guess it might be due to the location...
The foods here taste good, and some of them are unique. I hadn't ever visited Vietnam, but I felt they got the authentic taste of Vietnam's delicacy. The main course have pretty big portion. The place is cozy too, the air-cons are working well, and it has paddy field view too at the back. The price is pretty high, and the price range might be pretty common on the area of Petitenget. I would suggest to drive motorbike to this place, they have vallet parking too, but you know the problem around Petitenget especially at night and high season.
