Food really good. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced.

It’s very difficult to screw up Fish and Chips, but this “restaurant” (I use the term very loosely) managed it. The fish was very soft, indicating old fish (definitely not fresh). The batter on the fish was soggy and the chips were soft and slimy, not crisp; both indications that the oil used to cook the food was not hot enough and the food wasn’t adequately drained after cooking. If you like Fish and Chips, avoid this place like the plague

The pub itself is smoky and small, but you can sit outside or in the restaurant. The onion rings, chips and battered fish is just unbelievable. In fact, now that we've had theirs, the hunt begins to find anything as delicious. Generous portions! Best onion rings and battered fish ever, and those chips… Super friendly service. Been going for more than 30 years, now I know why. Well done everyone!
