Restaurant Bad Kyburg

A nice old place, renovated tastefully with odd features: A nice bare, outdoor space, no trees no cover; the entrance is to the side, kind of inconvenient. In order to get to the fine dining part of the restaurant one has to cross the brewery section.The beer is not bad, the food too but prepared without much creativity. The fare is Swiss, among them a very good Bratwurst. Because of it's situation this place is catering to the local clientele. No tourists!

Heute Abend waren wir im Bad Kyburg zum Abendessen. Bierliebhaber kommen hier voll auf ihre Kosten, da das Restaurant über eine eigene Brauerei verfügt und viele Gerichte darauf abgestimmt sind. Besonders empfehlenswert ist der Kyburger Marktsalat mit Biersauce. Eine kleine, aber feine Gartenterrasse rundet das Ambiente ab.

Wir hatten das Mittag- und Abendessen im Restaurant während eines Workshops eingenommen. Alles war sehr gut, das selbstgebraute Bier war natürlich ein Highlight zum Aperitif, aber auch zum Essen. Eine ausgezeichnete Adresse für geschäftliche Anlässe, aber auch privat zum Essen.

Wildspeisen alles zu wünschen übrig. Die Wildsauce war eher eine Bratensauce! Der Rotkohl schmeckt wie aus der Büchse. Die Spätzle hatten keinen Geschmack. Die Portionen sind klein dafür die Preise um so höher!!
