Great meat, ingenious alcohol (Hwa rank), good price, but definitely worth it. It was so good that I didn't really need the tofu stew and rice to finish the meal on request. Excellent service.
Busy and crowded local restaurant but great beef and fast service
Come for the beef ribs. Barbecued over charcoal by the best cook ever (yourself) so if it sucked there’s only yourself to blame. Anyway good meat. Not much to say about the side dishes. For the end, doenjang jiggae is pretty natural looking. To save time just tip the entire rice bowl into the soup and finish it all. You can be a local and wash it all down with Soju. Me? Nah. Soju overpowers the taste of nice beef. Not cheap. But if you’re from Seoul it’s reasonable. The owner doesn’t seem to be driving a Rolls Royce or have family members behind the counter with gold chains, so be happy you’re not contributing to their decadent lifestyle.
Quality of meat was good but the quantity of the banchan was hardly any. Maybe a spoonful of each dish. Cost about 20,000+ won for each meat dish of 110g. The place was packed with people hence the minute you finish your meal and set your spoon down they will clear your table.
