Table: this restaurant open! our experience was comprehensible. we traveled 40 min from our way to go to this restaurant, as it was an extremely busy Saturday night at the height of the cherry blossom season, so that looking for a table was difficult to say the least. we arrived to find that a table was not reserved for us (they apparently did not check the open table reservations) and the place was fully booked. They obviously couldn't do anything for us and they were very sad. they did not even try to see if they could find a solution. they just literally pushed us out of the door, bowed and said sad. I'm sorry I didn't want to feed us. fortunately (after another hour walking around) we found the best rams we've ever had, but that doesn't excuse how we were treated by trattoria pino. shameful device.
Complimenti al Cuoco!! We had great food. It seems almost impossible to find a good non-japanesse food in Kyoto and although we love the taste of Japanese food we were in need.of some pasta after 10 days in Japan Great food, great service
I greatly appreciate the warm welcome we received at this restaurant. The food was outstanding and the service was incredibly friendly.
