We were greeted politely though, landed on a wooden step, given slippers and brought into a bit cluttered room. Luckily we got probably the largest table available with a garden view. Menu again was a bit challenging as it had so many amazing options and combinations all listed in a tiny handwritten scrapbook. I got very tired reading and thinking and just went for a default option: “Kouso lunch”. It came with really delitious brown rice, miso soup, lots of fresh and fermented vegetables. Homemade natto and natto dressing for salad were the accent of the meal, so deep, bitter, unforgettable. Sometimes simplicity is the key.
Healthy vegan eats in traditional Japanese style dining. Full of nutrition and flavor! Would highly recommend the lunch sets and the rice bowls. Both are so good! The special drink is very unique
Had the donburi here. Perfect lunch. Not too heavy, not too light and an interesting, but good mix of flavors.
The food was good, if a bit pricey esp the dinner set. their most popular drink not great. cosy atmosphere but ... better vegan food nearby for a better price.
Very good and cute restaurant. I'm not a vegan and I enjoyed very much their meal. Staff is nice and speak English, menus are also in English. The food is all homemade without any animal products. They are making their own nato, kimuchi and their Kōso rice is delicious! They have a small garden and a cute avocado tree!
