I like the winery and the fish texture was good. it is not raw tasting. for something else and from kyoto, they should try it.
The best makrelensushi in my life. no hyperbolic, literally I haven't met a better makrelensushi than here. the makrele is very juicy and the combination with vinegar is beautiful. mackerel sushi is one of the local food in kyoto, so there are several famous and traditional restaurants for it. here is one and personally the best among them. it is very pre yasaka shrein so that the location is also good. the interior is very traditional Japanese house style, so they also like it.
Delicious kioto style sushi, reasonable prices. the restaurant is quite small with just about five tables, so they might wait a bit. the service is friendly and fast. they can see the chefs who are busy at work who prepare dishes directly at the entrance. her speciality is her inari sushi (tofu wrapped rice balls) which is loaded with taste. her deluxe hako sushi is rice with various seafood that choose it to a variety plate. recommend ordering the set menu for the corresponding number of people to ensure all their best dishes. kioto style sushi is hard on rice so that they get full quickly!
Beautiful cozy place for kyoto sushi. the first time that you ever try a completely different type of sushi. very tasteful. has set the English menu for those who do not understand Japanese, and has set the menu for 2-6 pax so it is easier to share and try a lot. had a set for 2 pax (see picture) and was super filling. sad gudi and inari were outside when I arrived, so that they have sworn to something else and also adapted the prices. standard 2 pax is about 3.5-4.5k yen, which is worth the quality.
Interesting sushi, limited food options.. bought the saba sushi back, hope it'll be good! Love the interior, even though there's very few seats, I was seated alone in a table for four. Not sure why people are saying the staffs are not polite towards foreigners but they were all very nice to everyone.. And they do have an english menu.
